It's Heating Up



It's the end of week 1 for KB & she did great! She lost six pounds amid dealing with a busy workload in her office. I'm so proud of her! And once she decides to log on to her computer, I'm sure she'll post for herself! (keep your fingers crossed ;-)

At the end of week 3, I've been teetering around 2 pounds total. It's not exactly where I'd hoped to be but I think I know where to make adjustments. It may have to do with me not eating enough. Now that I'm working out seven times a week, eating every 3-4 hours have become even more important. I will strive to do better next week. Also, NuLife is starting a running group next week & I'm gonna try to drop in to add some variety to my workouts. Besides, I've got these dope new running shoes that have been collecting dust under my bed for the past month. Time to bring 'em out!

Hellacious Cleveland heat +  increased water intake = SUPER sweaty girl. (yeah, i know hellacious isn't a word, but I think it properly captures the essence of this heat, don't you?). I'm a sweaty girl normally. But now? I create a kiddie pool's worth of sweat on the gym floor. Now I look like I dump a gallon of Gatorade on myself as a mini celebration for finishing a workout. Oh well, that just means the toxins & body fat are coming off, right? In the meantime I'll just pack extra headbands, towels, shirts, extra everything until this heat decides to calm down.
